Message: We have 4 Foster Children with Special Needs. In a system that is so broken and we have had a tremendous amount of turn in employees we have been extremely blessed working with Desiree. We have never felt like just a number or that she is just checking the boxes. She takes the time with us to share her knowledge and resources for our kids. She also brings back hope that there are those who are still in it for what’s best for the kids and giving them the resources and opportunities they deserve.

Message: I submitted my referral online over the weekend and called the office on Monday to follow up. I spoke to Ms. Desiree Gomez who checked and informed me the information had not been entered into the system. I asked if I could call back to confirm that it was and Ms. Gomez introduced herself as the regional manager and gladly provided her name and her direct number to call back. I called later in the day and Ms. Gomez was knowledgeable, efficient and explained the process to me. I needed help filling out the paperwork online so I sent Ms. Gomez an email late in the evening and she responded! This is quite out of the ordinary and I felt Ms. Gomez cared. As soon as an opening came up, Ms. Gomez sent an email very early in the day to inform me of the availability. Ms. Gomez is not only helpful, professional and responsive, she is also very compassionate, a quality that makes a huge difference when seeking services. She is an absolute asset to Families First of FL and hope she is appreciated!

She had answers I needed and she was quick to take action to help my girls when I was requesting services for them. I appreciate how quickly she worked to send me documents needed and to make an intake assessment for them. I wish more companies were like this. It can make someone's day a huge difference when there are people that show they actually care and enjoy their job. The therapist N. Magill was excellent as well. She took the time to listen to me, my girls and evaluate their needs. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing their services.
