Message: This is an honest opinion seeing that I currently stay here. They applying for long term care for independent living, meaning I'm perfectly ok just health wise I need the help to survive like medications and doctors open. I started in the 200 building and stayed there for 2 months and the nurses were super sweet in living bob and sally. i ordered from Walmart a small noodle cooker and blender for juice smoothie so I can get all the nutrients I need. l because the food here is worse than jail. The nurses in front constantly just walk into your room I have no privacy no knocks or anything. now signing paperwork in the begining I don't remember signing any paper saying I can't have any electronic such as the noodle cooker or blender or blow-dryer or hair dryer. This is absolutely crazy how they treat everyome here. I understand the ones that aren't capable to physical do things on a day to day basis. But I'm. Capable just very sick. The fact the food will kill you here. And there's not much put into the nutritionist job here. Since being moved to the 100 they have forgotten to feed me twice.. Azalea luciano.

Message: It's tough finding a facility through online reviews--many of the people writing them are the unhappy ones. Nonetheless, here's an honest, balanced review of our experience at the Abbey: For starters, it's not perfect. I'm sure they're compliant with state standards but they could always use more staff. (Probably true of all facilities. ) However, the staff are really hard-working and care about their patients. The admissions director (Shara) and nursing director (Uhura) moved quickly and efficiently to get my dad admitted within a matter of hours--which was a godsend. Once there, the nursing team (Sydney and Rachel) and PT (Hans) treated him with true compassion and care. The CNA's varied from ok to incredibly attentive (especially Bob and Queen). The food was fine--breakfast and lunch were consistently pretty good; dinner was mostly ok. But they let visitors bring in food from the outside, so was easy enough to bring in Subway or whatever if desired. The consulting doctors were very responsive--any time the nurse called with a request it was addressed quickly. The staff psychiatrist was also great and willing to talk with us every week. There were a few downsides--some of the equipment (beds and TVs) are overdue for replacement. A few times we had to make more than one request for things, but again.. no place is perfect. We really appreciated the 24/7 visiting hours. Our dad recovered nicely during his weeks at the Abbey and continues to do so thanks to the care he received there.

Message: My aunt was at The Abbey Rehab for about 8 months and received wonderful medical care and services from the staff. The attention to her from the nurses, aides, and even housekeepers was top notch. My aunt is home now and doing well but if we ever need to have her go anywhere for care we would definitely go back to this facility.

Message: My husband is in The Abbey Nursing Center. I would like to say I’m so grateful that my husband is in this facility. The staff members are very nice and my husband is happy being there. I would recommend this place to all my friend’s and family. It’s a very good place and they take care of your loved one.
